Team India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant seemingly played mind games with England skipper Ben Stokes on day three of the opening Test at the Headingley in Leeds. With Pant saying 'sensible Stokesy' after the seam-bowling all-rounder left a tight one from Ravindra Jadeja, the skipper had lost his wicket for 20.
With Stokes and Harry Brook keeping the tempo up for England despite losing Ollie Pope in the very second over of day three, Team India was visibly getting frsutrated. With Siraj coming in to bowl the 65th over, the Hyderabad-born cricketer teased one outside off-stump, inviting Stokes to take the bait. The left-hander ended up falling for it and fiddled with the ball but only managed a thin outside edge to Rishabh Pant, who took a simple catch.

Harry Brook stood firm as England lose two wickets in the first session of day three
Meanwhile, the Englishmen had lost Stokes and Pope but Harry Brook looked the most comfortable. Brook, along with Jamie Smith, kept the runs coming as he took England to 327/3 at lunch after they began the day at 209/3.
India had been bowled out for 471 after Yashasvi Jaiswal (101), Shubman Gill (147) and Rishabh Pant (134) struck centuries. Jasprit Bumrah was the sole wicket-taker on day two, dismissing Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett and Joe Root.
The hosts were eventually bowled out for 465, giving their opposition a six-run lead. Jasprit Bumrah claimed a fifer but Brook missed out on a century, agonisingly falling for 99.
