A heated moment erupted amid the Durand Cup 2025 match between Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan SC match on Thursday at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. With one of the Mohammedan SC players tackling Mohun Bagan footballer and the latter falling down, he was not happy and was on the verge of getting into a serious scuffle.

The moment occurred before the first half of the match as Mohammedan SC were inevitably vying for the ball due to being 1-0 down in the contest. After Mohammedan SC player tackled the opposing player, he got back up quickly and tried to lock horns. Meanwhile, the player to give Mohun Bagan a 1-0 lead in the Kolkata Derby was Liston Colaco, who converted a free kick outside of the box to a sensational goal, leaving the opposition goal keeper with no chance.
