English journalist and media personality Piers Morgan hit back at Team India's supporters' group Bharat Army following England's heavy 336-run defeat in the second Test in Birmingham. With Morgan issuing warning about Jofra Archer's potential return at Lord's, fans trolled him, reminding that Jasprit Bumrah will also come back.

Team India humbled the Englishmen by 336 runs at Edgbaston to draw the five-Test series after losing the first game at Headingley. After burying the hosts under their first-innings total of 587, India took a 180-run lead and set an improbable 608 as target. The run-chase saw England crash to 278 all out, handing India their first Test victory at the venue.

With The Bharat Army posting laughing emoticons at Morgan's tweet of 'I love bazball' after India's win, he responded the below as Archer's return looms:

"See you at Lord’s - where I suspect @JofraArcher will wipe all those smug grins off your face."

Here's how netizens reacted to Piers Morgan's comment, reminding of Jasprit Bumrah's return:

Shubman Gill confirms Jasprit Bumrah's return for Lord's Test

At the post-game presentation at Edgbaston, visiting captain Shubman Gill strongly confirmed Bumrah's return for the Lord's Test, with the fast bowler rested from the second game to manage his workload. Bumrah picked up five wickets in the first innings at Headingley and will likely enjoy bowling at Lord's.

Meanwhile, Archer and Gus Atkinson could replace Chris Woakes and Josh Tongue for the third Test after their struggles in the first two matches. India had defeated England the last time the two sides met at Lord's.
