Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) spinner Digvesh Rathi was brutally mocked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans outside the Ekana International Stadium as they performed his notebook celebration after the IPL 2025 game on Tuesday. A video of the same surfaced on social media as RCB fans were ecstatic after the team's remarkable victory over LSG.
Rathi, who has copped multiple fines and faced a one-game ban for his infamous notebook celebration, was arguably the centre of attention after returning to the playing eleven. Although the 27-year-old didn't get a wicket, he went on to affect a non-striker's run-out against Jitesh Sharma. However, the decision was given not out by third umpire. With RCB chasing down 228 convincingly with eight balls and six wickets to spare, fans left no stone unturned in mocking Rathi.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru to face the Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1
Meanwhile, the six-wicket victory has enabled the Royal Challengers to finish the league stage on top two, thereby setting up the Qualifier 1 clash against the Punjab Kings on May 29 in Mullanpur. The two sides had defeated each other once earlier in the tournament; hence, they would begin on an even scale this time around.
The Royal Challengers have previously reached the final on three occasions and have lost all of them; hence, they would want to break the jinx this time around. Punjab Kings are also one of the four teams yet to win the IPL trophy.
The Eliminator clash will take place on May 30 between the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans.
