The highly anticipated Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place at the Dubai International Stadium on March 9 (Sunday). The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a whopping $6.9 million (approximately ₹60.06 crore) prize pool for the tournament. Every participating team was guaranteed $125,000 (around ₹1.08 crore) for featuring in the tournament. Additionally, teams received $34,000 (₹2.95 crore) for each group-stage win.

The last time they clashed in the summit showdown was in 2000, when New Zealand, led by Stephen Fleming, defeated Sourav Ganguly's India at the Gymkhana Ground in Nairobi.
India, who shared the Champions Trophy title with Sri Lanka in 2002 and won it outright in 2013, now has a golden opportunity to claim their third Champions Trophy title (second outright). Meanwhile, New Zealand will be aiming for their second title in the tournament's history.
