In the CAFA Nations Cup 2025 third-place match, the Blue Tigers defeated Oman in a thrilling victory thanks to the heroics of Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

After the end of 90 minutes, the score stands at 1-1. The comeback from the Indian team was very well executed by Udanta.

Udanta scores in the 80th minute of the match to get the equaliser.

Jameel Al Yahmadi sticks his leg out and deflects Fawaz’s shot into the bottom corner to give Oman the lead.

Throughout the opening forty-five minutes of the game, both the team had their fair chances to get ahead on the scoresheet. But it is still 0-0.

Oman come close as Al Rawahi goes through on goal with only the Indian goalkeeper to beat, but taps his shot a few centimetres wide of the far post.

Both the teams are still looking to break the goal dreadlock.
