World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Chief content officer HHH addressed the shocking return of R-Truth during the pay-per-view of the Money in the Bank in Inglewood, California. The former WWE Champion stated that his release was all part of the show as he addressed the reporter's question with poise following the event.

On June 1, the 53-year-old had released a tweet on X that he was released from the WWE and thanked everyone who stood by his side during his 17-year tenure with the company. The sudden announcement from the veteran wrestler shocked the fans but his return was even more stunning. The match between Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs John Cena and Logan Paul saw Truth attacking Cena after storming into the ring wearing a hoodie. The crowd went wild and Rhodes hit Cena with Cross Rhodes for the win.
