The relationship between a teacher and a student is strong. Students often develop a special affection for teachers who instill a love for learning. A heartwarming example of this bond has come to light at Sadhana Primary Vidya Mandir in Pune.
When students of Class 3 learned that their beloved teacher, Sharda Dawade from Hadapsar, had been transferred, they were overwhelmed with emotion. The children surrounded the teacher and began crying. In a touching gesture, one of the students, Hamid Suyog Bendre, wrote a heartfelt letter to senior leader Sharad Pawar, requesting that her transfer be cancelled.
The video of students breaking down in tears has gone viral on social media, capturing the attention of many.
In his letter, Hamid wrote, “Taai teaches well. Don’t transfer her. She doesn’t shout at us.”

Hamid’s letter reads: "My name is Hamid Suyog Bendre. My school name is Sadhana Primary Vidyamandir, Pune Hadapsar-28. I am studying in Class 3. My class teacher is Sharda Dawade Tai. I came to know today that she will not come to teach me from tomorrow. She has been transferred suddenly. Hearing this, I started crying a lot. Then I asked my mother and father whether we should bring the woman back? They said that you can bring our Tai back. Because Tai teaches us very well. She never shouts. So I want Tai in this school. My humble request to you is that you should not transfer Tai. Keep her with us."
The sincere appeal from a young student has touched many hearts and highlights the deep impact a dedicated teacher can have on her students.
