Speaking to local media, customer Akash Jalagi said he had reported the matter to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). "When my wife took a bite, she felt a hard and transparent substance in her mouth. Initially, we thought it was ice, but upon checking, we realised it was glass," he added.
When the eatery's owner, Kasim Irani, was contacted, he clarified that the bread is sourced from outside. "The glass piece was found in the bread, which we source from an external bakery. We have informed the supplier and instructed them to take immediate precautions to prevent such incidents in the future," he added.
