A violent incident occurred at the Ganga Florentina Housing Society in Pune's Mohammadwadi on Thursday night, when a Blinkit delivery executive allegedly got into a heated argument with the society’s security guard, which later escalated into physical violence.
According to eyewitnesses and initial reports, the incident took place around 8:30pm when the Blinkit delivery executive arrived at the society to make a delivery. While attempting to park his vehicle, an argument broke out between him and the security guard over parking regulations inside the premises.
Tensions escalated quickly, and shortly after the altercation, the delivery boy reportedly made a phone call. Within a short span, and six unidentified men arrived at the location. The group allegedly began assaulting the security guard, causing panic among residents and onlookers.
A representative from Ganga Florentina’s managing committee stated, “This kind of behaviour is unacceptable. We are cooperating with the authorities to ensure strict action is taken.”
