While promoting and spreading education, it is important to contemplate its true purpose. The center of education is the individual, and his all-round development should be the main goal," said Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, founder of Shrutisagar Ashram, Phulgaon.

He was addressing the gathering as the chief guest at the 43rd Foundation Day ceremony of the MAEER MIT Educational Institution Group, held with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervor.

The event was presided over by Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, former Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University. Among the distinguished guests were Prof. Fernando Garibe, founder of the Garibe Institute for Soft Power and Public Diplomacy (USA) and Grammy Award winner, and Ronald C. Gunnell, President of the Garibe Institute.

The program saw the presence of Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. On this occasion, a unique literary and musical presentation titled "Geet Vishwanath, Vishwadharmi Vishwanath Shodh Vishwashanticha: Yatra Vachanpurtichi", written by Dr. Sanjay Upadhyay and presented by Prof. Shashank Divekar, was performed.

In his keynote address, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati emphasized the importance of cultivating values and personality through education. “If performance, intelligence, and the mind of students are developed through education, social well-being will follow. A value-based education system that nurtures the mind is essential,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad highlighted that the institution has always strived to create value-based citizens. “Peace can prevail in the world only through a coordination of science and spirituality. Our educational model is rooted in universal humanism and global harmony,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Fernando Garibe stressed the importance of inner exploration in today’s divided world. “In times of global conflict and confusion, students must look inward for knowledge and awaken universal humanity,” he said.

Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh praised the institution’s role in promoting the spirit of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Pasayadan. “The message of world brotherhood is being passed on to the new generation through this institution’s efforts in value-based education,” he remarked.
