Trimbakeshwar: A flood of devotees arrived in Trimbakeshwar on the third Monday of the month of Shravan. In the last two days, about 1 to 1.5 lakh devotees have arrived in Trimbakeshwar for the Brahmagiri Pradakshina. Due to this, the entire area has become abuzz with slogans of 'Bam Bam Bhole' and 'Har Har Mahadev'.

Since thousands of devotees are coming for the Brahmagiri Pradakshina, the administration has taken special measures to ensure smooth traffic flow. Entry of private vehicles into Trimbakeshwar was banned. Vehicles coming from Nashik were allowed to park at Talegaon Phata, while vehicles coming from Jawhar were allowed to park at Amboli Phata.
From here, devotees travelled to Trimbakeshwar by Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses. Devotees had started thronging Trimbakeshwar yesterday afternoon. Many devotees took a bath in the Kushavarta Kund at night and started the Brahmagiri Pradakshina.
Devotees from various districts of the state and from Nashik district arrived in large numbers for the pradakshina this morning.
Traffic Jam Due To Unorganised Parking
Although the administration has banned the entry of private vehicles, there is a large traffic jam due to unorganised parking by drivers in rural areas. Drivers parked their vehicles on the road in the Ganpatwadi area on the main route of the Brahmagiri Pradakshina, causing problems for citizens going to villages like Pimpald, Brahmanwade, and Malegaon.
Strict Police Deployment For Security
Strict police deployment was seen at various places along the pradakshina route. The administration has taken precautions to prevent any untoward incident. In addition, toilets and medical teams have also been made available at various places for the devotees.
