Kolhapur: Punjab National Bank Grants ₹1 Lakh For Cricket Ground Renovation At Shivaji University

Kolhapur: Punjab National Bank Grants ₹1 Lakh For Cricket Ground Renovation At Shivaji University |

Punjab National Bank's Kolhapur branch has contributed ₹1 lakh under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the renovation and refurbishment of the cricket ground at Shivaji University.

Ranjan Singh, Head of Punjab National Bank, Kolhapur Circle, handed over the cheque of ₹1 lakh to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Digambar Shirke on Thursday. He also assured further financial assistance if required in the future. The proposal for this funding was initiated by Adv. Ajit Patil, a member of the university's Senate, who actively pursued the grant for the university.

The cheque handover ceremony was attended by Adv. Abhishek Mithari, Punjab National Bank officer Jatin Parmar, Adv. Ankita Mithari, and Rahul Patil.

This contribution is expected to support the enhancement of sports infrastructure at Shivaji University, benefiting aspiring cricketers and students.
