A two-day workshop on "The Thinking Educator: Leadership, Learning Styles and Creative Assessment" was organised by the College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Dhankawadi Academic Complex, Bharati Vidyapeeth, under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), as part of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in Pune.
The inauguration of the workshop was attended by Dr. Kirti Gupta, Director, IQAC; CA Aishwarya Hardikar, Head, Finance Department; Dr. Prasad Pore, Coordinator, IQAC; and Principal Dr. L. S. Chirmule.
Dubai-based lead trainer Dr. Amey Ghanekar guided the participating faculty on leadership qualities, creative assessment, and student-centered teaching methods. His interactive style helped the participating faculty understand the subject better and gave them a new direction to view teaching from a reflective and creative perspective. The sessions were conducted by a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
The workshop coordinator, Dr. Jyoti Peshwa, proposed the vote of thanks. Heads of departments and professors from various campuses were present at the workshop.
