Nagpur: A shocking video has emerged on social media from a house in Nagpur, showing a venomous snake discovered inside a pillowcase late in the evening. A fresh fear has emerged among individuals following the shocking video attracting attention on social media.

In a surprising incident from Nagpur, a highly venomous snake was discovered hidden under a pillow on a bed inside a house. The shocking find instilled fear in the community, but thankfully, the snake was promptly caught and released back into its environment.

This occurrence coincides with rising accounts of snake sightings in urban areas of Nagpur, escalating concerns about safety, especially during the monsoon when snakes seek shelter indoors. Residents are urged to remain vigilant, check their bedding regularly, and contact local snake rescuers (Sarpmitras) if they spot a snake.

The video shows a snake about a feet long hiding and crawling inside the pillow cover and then hiding between the mattress and bed beneath the other pillow next to it. The snake catcher swiftly approached the snake who was in a defence mode, yet the catcher managed to swiftly and calmly hold the snake and put the snake inside a plastic container and closed it with a container.

In the clip, a woman attempts to catch the snake gently, as it appears agitated by the disturbance. The incident, shared on Instagram by user ‘reenagarg_hr06_’, resonated widely, garnering over 468K likes as it reminded many of their own worst fears regarding wildlife intrusions. This incident took place last year although exact details are not yet known.
