Navi Mumbai: NMMC areas receive 26 mm of rainfall on Sunday, incidents of fire reported

The total rainfall under the NMMC since the arrival of the Monsoon is 497.56 mm

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area received an average of 26.08 mm of rainfall from Sunday 8.30 am to Monday 8.30 am. The maximum rainfall was reported in the Digha ward with 35.5 mm. The civic jurisdiction also witnessed six trees fall and three fire calls on Friday.

As per the Disaster Management of NMMC, due to tree falling and fire incidents, no one was injured.

The total rainfall under the NMMC since the arrival of the Monsoon is 497.56 mm

Between Friday 8.30 am and Saturday 8.30 am rainfall:

Digha-35.5 mm

Belapur-25.8 mm

Nerul- 22 mm

Airoli-29.10 mm

Vashi-20 mm

Koparkhairane – 24.1 mm

Trees fall: 2

Morbe Dam level: 69.89 meters

Rainfall on Sunday in Morbe dam’s catchment area: 28.2 mm

Total rainfall in catchment area of dam: 370.4 mm
