Mumbai: A delegation of the Shiv Sena (UBT) party, led by Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Ambadas Danve, met Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan on Monday to submit a memorandum demanding the immediate suspension of ministers and MLAs from the ruling coalition who are allegedly involved in corruption and misconduct.
Allegations Levelled Against Four Key Ministers
The memorandum presented to the Governor highlights serious allegations against several members of the state cabinet, including Minister Sanjay Shirsat, Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate, Minister of State Yogesh Kadam, and Minister Nitesh Rane. The delegation laid out detailed information regarding these allegations and urged the Governor to take swift and appropriate action.
Controversies Raised Include Honey Trap, Tunnel Project, Land Deals
The letter also brought to the Governor's attention various controversial issues in the state, including the honey trap scandal, the Thane-Borivali tunnel project, and irregularities in the land acquisition process of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation.
