Mumbai: In a concerning incident reported from Malvani on Tuesday evening, four minor boys have gone missing from a local madrasa. Police suspect that the boys may have left the institution on their own, and a formal missing persons complaint has been registered at the Malvani police station.

According to officials, the missing boys are aged 12, 13, 15, and 16. All four had been residing at the madrasa for over a year to pursue religious education. Their whereabouts became unknown after approximately 7:30 PM on Tuesday, prompting a teacher (maulvi) from the institution to alert the police.

As of now, authorities have not been able to determine the exact reason why the boys left. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being reviewed to trace their movement and establish a timeline of events.

Police said multiple teams have been deployed and inquiries are underway at possible locations the boys may have visited. Investigators are also speaking to friends, staff, and family members to gather any relevant information. Efforts are ongoing to trace the missing minors and ensure their safe return.
