Mumbai: A shocking CCTV footage from a building in Mumbai's Andheri has come to light. In the video, a dog lover is seen attacking a security guard of a building who is trying to defend himself from a pack of violent street dogs. The video clip has emerged from Andheri East's Vastu Riddhi Apartments, as per reports.

The CCTV footage is from late night (23:36) on 05-03-2025. In the video, the watchman is seen standing with a long stick and gets suddenly attacked by a group of street dogs. The watchman frantically waves his stick to defend himself from the dogs, and suddenly a young man enters the scene and hurriedly runs towards the security guard and assaults him.

Assault Escalates
The watchman is then seen trying to explain something to the young man while simultaneously trying to defend himself from the violent dogs. The dog lover again attacks the watchman and soon pins him down. Soon other society members are seen joining in to try to shoo the dogs.

Video Of Bleeding Watchman Surfaces

An X user shared the video, claiming that the watchman was bleeding due to dog bites. However, in the video only the wounds and his ripped pants with blood stains can be seen.

Mumbai Police's Response To Viral Video

Mumbai Police took cognisance of the viral video and responded on the post on X through its official account. In its response on the viral video post, Mumbai Police wrote, "Request you to report the matter at your nearest police station for necessary action." Meanwhile, there are no confirmed reports of any action taken in the matter.
