Mumbai: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch carried out a major drug bust in the Nagpada area, recovering 307 grams of Mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 76 lakh. One person has been arrested in connection with the case.
According to ANC officials, the Bandra unit received a tip-off on July 10 about a youth arriving at MS Ali Road in Nagpada to sell MD drugs. Acting swiftly, a team laid a trap in the area and detained a suspect based on suspicion. Upon searching him, officers found 307 grams of the banned substance in his possession.
The accused was immediately taken into custody and booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to supplying drugs in the Nagpada area.

ANC officials stated that further investigation is underway to identify other individuals linked to the network and to trace the broader supply chain behind the operation.
