Tempo Driver Likely Applied Sudden Brakes

According to preliminary information, the tempo driver allegedly applied sudden brakes, leading to a rear-end collision with the BEST bus. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident and all bus passengers were safe. However, the mishap did cause a temporary traffic jam in the surrounding area.

Mumbai Traffic Police personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and managed to clear both vehicles from the road. Earlier Accident In Goregaon Left Several Injured

This incident comes just days after a more serious crash involving a BEST bus occurred on June 17 in Goregaon. That accident, which took place on Aarey Colony Road, involved a collision between a BEST bus and a pickup truck.

Several bus passengers sustained minor injuries in the Goregaon crash, which occurred during the busy morning rush hour. Emergency services responded immediately and all the injured were given first aid on-site, with some transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

The impact of the collision caused major traffic congestion in the area, disrupting the movement of thousands of commuters. The Aarey Police launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, with early reports suggesting possible negligence by one of the drivers.
