Navi Mumbai: As part of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited’s (MSEDCL) 20th anniversary celebrations, Electric Safety Week is being observed across the state from June 1 to 6 with the theme “Zero Accidents in MSEDCL, Zero Accidents in Maharashtra.” On Thursday, the fifth day of the campaign, the Kalyan Circle organised awareness rallies aimed at promoting electrical safety.
Under the leadership of Chief Engineer Chandramani Mishra, officials and staff in the Kalyan Circle actively participated to spread the message 'Follow electrical safety rules, prevent electrical accidents.' Bike rallies were organized across various divisions to educate citizens on the importance of electrical safety.

Superintending Engineer Anil Thorat led rallies in Kalyan Circle-I covering areas like Kalyan East, Kalyan West, and Dombivli. In Kalyan Circle-II, Superintending Engineer Vijay Funde oversaw awareness rallies in Ulhasnagar I and II, Badlapur, and Kalyan Rural divisions.
Simultaneously, in Vasai Circle, Superintending Engineer Dilip Khanande initiated similar activities in Vasai and Virar. In Palghar Circle, electrical safety awareness was carried out through bike rallies in various locations.

To culminate the week-long campaign, staff members from all branches in the region will take a safety pledge on June 6. MSEDCL's 20th Foundation Day will also be celebrated at all office locations.
