Palghar, Maharashtra: The decomposed body of an unidentified woman, believed to be in her twenties, was discovered stuffed in a sack and floating in the Wagh River in Ghatkarpada, Palghar district, on Tuesday, police confirmed. Villagers alerted authorities after spotting the suspicious sack in the river along the Nashik-Mokhada-Jawhar Road.

Upon retrieving the sack, police found the woman's body in an advanced state of decomposition. The body has been sent to a local hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the precise cause of death.
