The deadline for submitting applications under the Nucleus Budget Scheme for Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries has been extended to July 31, following difficulties reported by users on the official application portal. The scheme, meant for the financial year 2025–26, provides direct benefit transfers (DBT) to eligible individuals under various personal and group welfare schemes.

Initially, applications were invited through the NB portal — https://www.nbtribal.in — with a closing date of July 15. However, after receiving complaints regarding technical issues during the application process, the Tribal Development Commissioner, Maharashtra State (Nashik), announced an extension of the deadline.

Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project, Pen, Atmaram Dhabe, urged all eligible beneficiaries to submit their online applications before the revised deadline. He encouraged Scheduled Tribe individuals and groups to take full advantage of the extended window and apply for the available schemes through the portal.

For further assistance or inquiries, applicants can contact the Project Office at Pen, Raigad district, via phone at 02143–252519.
