Mumbai: Light of Life Trust (LOLT) has announced the International Virtual Marathon for 2025. It is a global initiative aimed at promoting fitness while raising funds to support the education of rural children, under the theme “I Run, They Learn.” The Free Press Journal is the media partner.
The marathon will be held worldwide on August 15, 16, and 17 enabling participants across the globe to run at their own time, pace, and location in support of LOLT’s mission to empower rural communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods.
As part of this initiative, a special physical run will be organised on Sunday, August 17 at Taj Lands End, near Bandstand, Bandra. The run will be flagged off at 7:00 a.m. by Priya Dutt. The event will unite fitness enthusiasts, philanthropists, and community members in a collective effort to create lasting change in the lives of rural children.
