Mumbai: Maharashtra Cyber Cell has issued third summons to YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina in connection with the show India's Got Latent. He has been asked to appear for questioning and record his statement on March 24.

Raina was second summoned on March 19, but he did not appear, leading to the issuance of another summons. Several FIRs have been registered against Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and others associated with the show in Maharashtra and Assam, accusing them of promoting obscenity.

Earlier, Raina requested to give his statement via video conferencing from the United States, citing prior commitments that prevented him from returning to India before March 17.

However, the Cyber Cell rejected his request, insisting that his statement be recorded in person. The controversy arose after podcast host Ranveer asked an inappropriate question to a contestant, sparking public outrage.
