Meanwhile, Haryana documented 16 new cases, primarily in Gurugram and Faridabad, increasing active cases to 51, with no hospitalisations reported. Haryana's health minister emphasized the importance of public caution for maintaining safety. The overall situation shows a consistent uptick in COVID-19 cases across these states, reflecting trends of case spikes every six to eight months.

Nationally, as of now, India reports 4,026 active cases, with Kerala leading in numbers, followed by Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi. The overall death toll since January stands at 37, with five recent deaths recorded. The surge in active cases is notable, up from 257 on May 22 to 4,026 on June 4, indicating a significant rise in infections.
