Shardiya Navratri, also known as Maha Navratri, is the most revered and spiritually significant of all the Navratris. Celebrated during Sharad Ritu in the lunar month of Ashwin, this nine-day celebration honours Goddess Shakti in her nine heavenly guises. Vijaya Dashami, or Dussehra, marks the triumph of good over evil and marks the conclusion of the story.
Shardiya Navratri 2025 will start on Monday, September 22, end on Wednesday, October 1, and include Dussehra on October 2, according to Drik Panchang. Every day is dedicated to a different form of the goddess Durga and colour, giving followers the opportunity to ask for protection, wealth, health, and wisdom.
