Hanuman Jayanti is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Hanuman. The significant day honours Lord Hanuman, who is revered for his strength, devotion, modesty, dedication, and courage. About Anjeyanadri Hill

Anjeyanadri Hill is located in the Vijayanagara district of Karnataka. According to Hindu belief, it is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, also known as Anjaneya. The hill is situated in Hanumanahali, which means Lord Hanuman's village. At the top of Anjeyanadri Hill, there is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, accessible via approximately 575 steps. The temple features a rock-carved idol of Lord Hanuman, along with shrines for Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.

In Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman was born to Mata Anjana and Kesari. He is also regarded as the son of Vayu, the Wind God. The Mata Anjani temple is situated near Anjeyanadri Hill. Each year, many devotees and tourists visit this pilgrimage site during Hanuman Jayanti to seek blessings and have a vision of the deity.
