Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): District Education Officer issued a suspension order against a government school teacher in Pipaliya Solanki village, Mandsaur, allegedly for bad-touch.

As per reports, Phool Mohammad Qadri, 55, was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards five girl students aged 8 to 10. The incident surfaced when the frightened girls confided in their families about his misconduct.

Enraged families gathered at the school and demanded justice for their children on Thursday.

The families alleged that Qadri had been bad-touching their children for the past 15 days. The students had initially remained silent due to fear, but finally spoke out.

The police have registered a case against Qadri under the relevant sections of the BNS and POCSO Act. Police arrested and presented him in court, from where he was remanded to jail. Qadri, originally from Uttar Pradesh, denied the allegations, claiming they are baseless.

18 students have been transferred

In response to the situation, 18 children from the school have been transferred to Sandipani School in Malhargarh. Villagers and family members are demanding strict punishment for the accused and enhanced monitoring in schools to prevent such incidents in the future.
