Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Block-level investigation team, constituted by collector Priyank Mishra, inspected various private schools of Dhar city including Cambridge Academy Higher Secondary School Dhar, Poddar Learn School and City International School.
Dhar sub-divisional officer Roshni Patidar reported that during inspections, rule violations were found in all three schools. At Cambridge Academy Higher Secondary School, seven books from four private publishers were being used in classes III and VII against regulations.
In Poddar Learn School, books from private publishers were found in all Sanskrit subject classes from nursery to class VII. The most violations were discovered at City International School, where 36 books in class I, 36 books in class II and 66 books in class VIII were all from private publishers.
All these schools were using private publisher books against established rules. The investigation team found significant irregularities in how these schools were selecting and using textbooks for their students.
Following Collector Mishra's instructions, the investigation report was sent to senior offices for taking appropriate action against the concerned persons according to rules. The block-level investigation team committee will continue monitoring compliance with educational regulations in private schools, said authorities.
