Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): State’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment, Gautam Tetwal, visited Barwani for the first time as the district in-charge minister. He was welcomed enthusiastically by BJP leaders and workers.
As per BJP district media in-charge Sunil Bhawsar, Tetwal reached the local BJP office at 2 pm, where district president Ajay Yadav and party workers greeted him with great fervour.
The minister inaugurated a grand exhibition commemorating the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar and paid floral tribute to national icons before commencing a meeting with party officials.
Addressing the gathering, Tetwal stated, “I have been called by Maa Narmada to serve the people along her banks.” He expressed his resolve to enhance public welfare and strengthen the party at every level, aiming for victory in all four assembly seats in the district.
Later, Tetwal inaugurated a multipurpose park built under AMRUT 2.0 scheme for Rs 66.03 lakh. He also reviewed the renovation work of Dhobadia Talab and emphasised planting spiritually significant trees.
The visit concluded with a core committee meeting where senior leaders including MPs Sumer Singh Solanki and Gajendra Singh Patel were present. Senior officials and a large number of citizens attended the events.
