Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): A married person living in a rented house committed suicide by hanging himself in a house under construction.
Deceased Mukesh (40) lived in a rented house in Sethi Nagar has a house under construction in Shivansh Valley on Dewas Road. Mukesh was found hanging in the same house by a contractor and he informed the family on Monday morning.
Mukesh’s sister Chetna Verma, a resident of Indore, said that his wife Hemshweta used to quarrel every day. She did not even let him talk to the family members.
After quarrelling with Mukesh two days ago, she locked the rented house and went to her maternal home in Jodhpur with her son Pranay. Mukesh went to his under-construction house and committed suicide by hanging himself. Chetna said that Mukesh had written a suicide note on WhatsApp and forwarded it to her before committing suicide.
Deceased’s wife Hemshweta said that she is a teacher in St Thomas School. They have been married for 19 years and have a 15-year-old son. Mukesh used to take drugs and used to beat her every day. He did not have a job, so he started living in depression.

She had gone to Jodhpur two days before her sister’s wedding with her son. Even before leaving, Mukesh had quarrelled at home and threatened to commit suicide.
She informed about it on Dial 100 and after that she went to Jodhpur with her son where she got Mukesh's suicide information. Police said that no suicide note has been recovered from the spot and the suicide note written on WhatsApp is a matter of investigation.
