Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Urban administration minister Kailash Vijayvargiya donned traditional Jain Sola attire and offered food to Jain saint Vishuddh Sagar Maharaj during a religious event held at Gommatgiri on Sunday.
Respecting Jain customs, the minister ensured he followed all religious protocols while participating in the ritual.
Vijayvargiya addressed the Jain community, emphasising the importance of discipline. "When saints are invited into homes for aahar daan (offering food), some community members display a lack of discipline. This must be avoided," he said, urging devotees to participate willingly and respectfully.

Later in the day, Vishuddh Sagarji Maharaj visited Pitreshwar Dham for darshan of Lord Hanuman. His earlier plan to visit Pitru Parvat had been delayed due to unfavourable weather.
On Monday, the saint’s mangal vihar took place at Pitru Parvat, where he was joined by several Jain monks. At the invitation of minister Vijayvargiya, the group conducted a tree plantation ceremony.
Dignitaries including principal Tongya, DK Jain and Manish Godha were also present, highlighting the community’s active participation in the event.
