Indore police crashes their dreams of heavy bounty

According to information, the first offender, Tabrez, is a resident of the Sadar Bazar area, and the second one, Bittu, resides in Indore’s Malharganj. The duo considers themselves as big criminals like 'don' and takes pride in their status of being history sheeters, thus were expecting a big bounty.

The poster was the Indore police's swaggy way of crushing the expectations of the daydreaming goons.

The criminals were booked under serious charges, including murder, and they have been at par for a long period of time. Indore police, therefore, have asked for the public's cooperation in locating and apprehending the individuals whose photographs are provided in the notice.

Police have assured that the duo will nabbed soon.

But why just ₹1?

According to DCP Zone 1 Vinod Meena, “The two absconders believed themselves to be the ‘Don’ of the city, and if the police happened to announce any bounty on them ever, it would be a huge amount. Therefore, to let them know their value and actual place, we have announced a reward of merely a rupee.”

The notice also emphasises that any information about the absconders’ whereabouts must be reported to the police, and a token reward will be given to those who get valuable leads.

As per the police control room’s instructions, the public can report the leads on the contact number 4172024 or to the nearest police station.
