Indore (Madhya Pradesh): During the IMC elections, if a woman under the cover of a veil or a man, accidentally, casts another voter’s vote and later the eligible voter comes with documents, he/she can vote through tender ballot paper. Twenty tender ballot papers will be there at each of the 2,250 booths. The person eligible to vote will have to convince the presiding officer with all the documents, and, only after getting the papers signed, will he be able to vote through a tender ballot paper. For this, the 20 tender ballot papers are being sent separately to each of the 2,250 polling booths.
The envelopes of ballot papers for all the booths were sent by the administration to the Nehru Stadium at night. Apart from this, there are other election materials, including green papers, tender ballots and address tags, that have also been sent there. From early in the morning till late in the evening on Sunday, administrative officials got the envelopes prepared and sent them to the strong-room of Nehru Stadium around 9 pm.
