Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia expressed pride in India’s achievement in the telecom sector on World Telecommunication Day, in Gwalior, on Saturday.

Scindia further explained, the business of the Postal and Telecommunications Department is not just about delivering information, but also about facilitating the exchange of emotions and abstracts between diverse individuals.

Speaking on India’s rapid digital growth, Scindia said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has achieved the fastest rollout of 5G in the world.

Within just 22 months, 5G services have reached 99% of districts and 82% of the population. He also shared that India is now moving towards framing policies for 6G, and the country will play a leading role in this area as well.

'Boycotting Pak and Turkey goods is people's emotional decision'

Speaking about the boycott of Turkey and Azerbaijan by traders, Scindia said, "This is an emotional decision taken by the country's citizens, and I bow before their sentiments. There will be no compromise on national interest and national security."

'Women's cricket being promoted'

Scindia also praised the ongoing MPL (Madhya Pradesh League) and GDCA (Gwalior Division Cricket Association) cricket league in Gwalior.
