Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): A disturbing case was reported from Madhya Pradesh's Khargone, where a man allegedly raped his minor daughter, impregnated her and dumped the newborn.
The accused has been repeatedly raping her. When the minor became pregnant, he forced her to deliver the baby at home fearing society and immediately dumped the baby in the bushes.
The incident occured in Maheshwar in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh.
According to the reports, the father fled from the spot leaving his minor daughter in the helpless condition at home. The lone girl sold grains to earn her living. During this time, she called one of her cousins and told him about the incident, which led to the expose of the case.
DNA Samples tested
Her condition was said to be extremely weak due to mental trauma and inadequate care. She was first sent to the One Stop Center, from where she was sent to a relative's house as per her wish. Police also got the DNA samples of the minor victim, accused father and victim. Testiing revealed the the minor delivered his father's child.
Baby bitten by ants
The one-day-old innocent newborn found in the bushes had been badly bitten by ants on the mouth, nose and hands. He was admitted to the Civil Hospital of Maheshwar.
From there he was referred to the district hospital and then from there to Indore. His treatment is going on there. After the disclosure of the case, the police arrested the accused father and sent him to jail.
