Health Camps For Needy To Begin From August In MP's Jhabua

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Divisional commissioner Deepak Singh on Wednesday chaired a meeting via Google Meet to review preparations for the 31 health camps scheduled until November.

These health camps will commence in August to provide medical treatment to needy population in remote districts of Indore division. The camps aim to gather health data and deliver essential medical services to remote communities.

Commissioner Singh directed collectors and chief medical and health officers (CMHO) to finalise all necessary arrangements before the camps. He focused on district and block-level training for district programme managers (DPM), block programme managers (BPM) and ASHA workers to ensure effective outreach.

The health camps will focus on comprehensive health assessments, including 100% screening for sickle cell anaemia. Additionally, cases for certificate and pension approvals will be processed on-site.

The camp is being organised with the collaborative efforts of government hospitals, AYUSH colleges, private hospitals, NGOs and institutions such as SEMS Medical College and Medanta Hospital.

Commissioner instructed officials to secure additional medical equipment for various health screenings. He also instructed concerned officials to ensure basic facilities such as drinking water, shade and washrooms to ensure a comfortable experience for those coming to the camp.
