Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has initiated the counselling process for CUET-PG aspirants, allowing students to apply for their preferred courses by the university teaching departments starting from May 19.

The registration window will remain open until June 1, after which the university will begin the process of seat allotment based on merit.

After a gap of three years, DAVV has again opted for online counselling – two rounds will be held in online and one round, if need be, in offline mode.

Following the National Testing Agency (NTA)’s announcement of CUET PG results in the first week of May, the university has received data of nearly six and a half lakh students, including 85,000 who have shown interest in DAVV courses.

The university has forwarded the results data to MPOnline, a online service provider to DAVV. The university offers 24 PG courses under 10 departments, including prominent programmes like MBA in Financial Administration, Marketing Management, Hospital Administration, e-Commerce, International Business, Business Analyst and Foreign Trade.

In total, 1,450 seats are available for admission. The university will release the merit list after June 1, which will be posted on its official website.

The first counselling round is likely to commence on June 15. According to Dr Kanhaiya Ahuja, CUET coordinator at DAVV, the registration process, including the choice filling for preferred courses, will be conducted through MP Online with a counselling fee of Rs 1,500.

This year, competition is expected to be tougher, as students from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat and Kanpur have also applied to DAVV, raising the benchmark for merit ranks and cutoffs.
