Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Industrialists associated with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) have suggested that to double the GDP of the city, there is a need for a unified digital portal for NOC of various departments.
A prescribed time limit should be fixed for the complete approval process, they said, adding that if approvals were not granted within a prescribed time, then provision of deemed permission should be made.
The suggestions were given to MP Shankar Lalwani when representatives of CII Malwa Zone met him here on Friday. During the meeting, the blueprint for doubling the GDP was shared and many important suggestions received from the industry.
The CII handed over documents to MP Lalwani, which mentioned their problems and practical suggestions to run industries smoothly in Madhya Pradesh.
Many industrialists, including CII Malwa Zone chairman Pankaj Goyal, vice chairman Anubhav Anand, eminent economist Jayantilal Bhandari, Dr. Anil Bhandari, Sawan Laddha, Anurag Sikarwar and Ajay Jain were present in the meeting. Everyone agreed that if the city was to be included in the leading cities of the country, then the processes would have to be made faster, transparent and industry-friendly.
MP Lalwani said that business should be made an experience in which entrepreneurs did not have to run around, the government process was clear and all approvals received within a fixed timeframe. He said it was the vision of PM Narendra Modi and chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav that industries in India and Madhya Pradesh should be taken forward with ease.
