Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 65-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance at her home under MIG police station limits on Wednesday afternoon.

The woman allegedly took this extreme step after a heated argument with her daughter-in-law, who refused to do household work, and with her son over a money-related issue.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Dwarkabai, a resident of Kannu Patel Ki Chowl. Neighbors shared that her son had recently gotten married a few months ago.

Dwarkabai had asked her daughter-in-law to help with the household chores, but she refused. This led to an argument between the two.

Later, she also had a disagreement with her son over money matters. Feeling upset, she left the room, brought some poisonous substance from somewhere, and went into the bathroom, where she consumed it.
