A stray dog attacked an eight-year-old boy as he played outside his home in the Alipur neighbourhood of Gajraula town, Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, leaving him with injuries to his arms and legs.

The victim, Ahad Saifi, son of Isaq Saifi, was playing near his house when the dog suddenly pounced on him. Two passers-by on a motorbike intervened and rescued the child from the animal’s grip. The entire incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera.

The footage clearly shows the dog lunging at the boy without provocation. After the attack, family members rushed the injured child to the Community Health Centre (CHC), where he is currently receiving treatment. According to reports, the same stray dog had previously bitten several other children in the area.
