A purported CCTV footage from the office of self-styled Christian prophet Bajinder Singh has gone viral, showing him physically assaulting multiple individuals, including women. The footage, reportedly recorded in February 2025, has ignited public outrage and renewed scrutiny of the 'Yeshu Yeshu' fame pastor.
In the video, Singh can be seen throwing a mobile phone at an employee before approaching the man, who was seated with others in the office. Singh then proceeds to assault him with a ladies' purse that was in the room, followed by slapping him in front of other staff members.
The footage further shows Singh slapping a female visitor who had brought her child to the office. Following this assault, other individuals present in the room intervened to protect the woman. The incident culminated in a heated argument between the woman and the pastor.
The CCTV footage has emerged on the heels of serious legal troubles for Singh. Earlier this month, Kapurthala Police registered an FIR against him under IPC sections 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation) based on allegations made by a 22-year-old woman. Despite the filing of the case, authorities have yet to take action against Singh.
Reacting to the video, a X user, tagging Gaurav Yadav, Director General of Police, said, "Such frauds should be held accountable immediately. What is the update here? Are we waiting for a significant incident to occur?"
Singh has vehemently denied the sexual assault allegations. During a press conference held in Jalandhar on Sunday, March 2, he dismissed the accusations as "false" and "baseless." Speaking to the media, Singh referred to the complainant as a "daughter" and stated, "Our job is to pray for her."
The emergence of this CCTV footage has led to calls for immediate police action regarding both the assault incidents captured on video and the previously filed sexual harassment case.
