Lucknow: As India celebrates its 79th year of Independence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the state's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign on Tuesday from his official residence in Lucknow. He led a Tiranga Yatra through the streets, accompanied by cabinet colleagues and public representatives, including Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak.
The campaign, which runs from August 13-15, is a tribute to freedom fighters and brave soldiers. Before the march, the Chief Minister interacted with and took selfies with schoolchildren, NCC cadets, and enthusiastic youth, setting a patriotic tone for the event.
During his address, the Chief Minister urged citizens to hoist the tricolor with pride, calling it a symbol of the nation’s honor. He also referenced **"Operation Sindoor". Adityanath appealed to all citizens to dedicate themselves to the nation and warned against divisive forces. The campaign aims to foster a spirit of patriotism and national unity, reinforcing the vision of a 'Viksit Uttar Pradesh – Atmanirbhar Uttar Pradesh'.
