A woman with the help of her lover allegedly brutally killed her husband in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh. The victim, identified as Yusuf Khan, 28, was a resident of Dhansari village under Chharra Police Station area in UP's Aligarh. According to reports, the post-mortem report of the victim has revealed that his hands were tied behind his back, he was stabbed with a sharp weapon in the stomach, causing his death immediately. The accused later poured acid on his face and other parts of his body, so that it could not be identified.
His body was dumped in bushes near an abandoned brick kiln, where it remained undiscovered for four days. According to reoprts, he had been severely burned with acid, making identification difficult. By the time he was found, the decomposing body was infested with maggots.
When the police received information about the body being found, they immediately reached the spot and called the forensic team. The team collected important evidence from the crime scene and sent the body for post-mortem. In the evening, when the photograph of the body and clothes were shown to the family members, they confirmed the identification after seeing his clothes and slippers.

Yusuf's father, Bhoore Khan, told the police in his statement that his son was murdered by his wife Tabassum and her lover Danish together. Yusuf had left home on the morning of 29 July saying that he was going to work as a porter in the market, but he did not return by evening. When the family searched extensively but could not find any trace of him, they registered a missing person report at Chharra police station. Now that his body has been found, the family has filed a murder case and demanded strict action against the accused.
Yusuf's cousin Mubeen Saifi has made a major revelation. He said that the accused Danish had first befriended Yusuf by promising to get him work. Using this pretext, he started frequently visiting Yusuf's house. During this time, he developed an illicit relationship with Yusuf's wife Tabassum. The family alleges that both of them together carried out this heinous conspiracy. Since the murder, Tabassum, Danish and their close relatives have been absconding.

Mubeen said that Yusuf had married Tabassum, a resident of Madrak, about nine years ago. After marriage, they had two sons - Aslan (6) and Adnan (4). Everything was going normally, but Tabassum's behaviour had changed over the past few months. She would often have long conversations with Danish on the phone, which made Yusuf angry and he would oppose it. The police suspect that this opposition cost him his life.
Dholna Kotwali police are taking this matter seriously. CO Sadar Aanchal Chauhan said that the murder has been confirmed based on the post-mortem report and statements of family members. The police have registered a case and started an investigation, and raids are being conducted at several possible locations for the arrest of the accused.
