Jaipur: A high-speed SUV car created havoc on the streets in Jaipur on late at night on Monday.

The driver was allegedly heavily drunken and drove the SUV for 7 km in a crowded area of ​​the city and crushed 9 people. 3 people including a brother and sister died in the incident.

The accused driver identified as Usman Khan, runs a factory in Jaipur and was Congress District Vice President. He was removed from the post by the party on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, this SUV first hit vehicles on the MI Road of the city and then entered the narrow streets of the city crushing vehicles and pedestrians on the street.

When the car got stuck, the locals caught the accused and handed over to the police.

The police said that Mamta Kanwar and Avdhesh Parik killed on the spot while

Virendra Singh, brother of Mamta Kanwar died in the hospital on Tuesday morning. Six others are under treatment in the hospital in Jaipur.

The police said that the accused was heavily drunken and has been arrested. The father of the deceased woman Mamta Kanwar has filed an FIR against Usman Khan.
