Prayagraj: As the water levels of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers begin to recede in Prayagraj, they leave behind widespread devastation. An estimated 70,000 people have been rendered homeless, and over 2,000 homes have suffered extensive damage. The flood-affected population, nearing half a million, continues to struggle with food and water shortages.
