Hours after successfully evacuating over 100 Indian nationals from Iran amid Israeli strikes under Operation Sindhu, the Indian government announced its decision to facilitate the evacuation of Indian citizens wishing to leave Israel. This move comes as the conflict-ridden nation faces escalating tensions.

In an official press release, the Ministry of External Affairs stated, "In light of recent developments between Israel and Iran, the Government of India has decided to assist the evacuation from Israel of those Indian nationals who wish to depart. Their journey from Israel to India will be coordinated through land border crossings followed by air travel to India."

The Ministry confirmed that the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv would oversee arrangements for the evacuation process. The release further emphasised that any Indian nationals residing in Israel who have not yet registered with the Embassy must complete the registration procedure immediately.

For assistance, the Ministry provided the following contact details for the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv: Telephone numbers +972 54-7520711 and +972 54-3278392, or email cons1.telaviv@mea.gov.in.
