Korba (Chhattisgarh): A high-voltage altercation outside One Night Club, located at Palm Mall in the Transport Nagar area of Chhattisgarh's Korba, turned into a drunken brawl involving two rival groups and a visibly intoxicated woman whose dramatic behaviour towards the police drew widespread attention.
Drunken Brawl Creates Ruckus Outside Club
The drunken brawl reportedly led to a chaotic scene on the road, with both groups engaging in aggressive behaviour and shouting accusations. In the midst of the ruckus, a woman, reportedly heavily intoxicated, created a major scene, referring to the man sitting behind her as her husband and arguing with police officers who tried to defuse the situation.
Viral Video Shows Drunk Woman Arguing With Cops
Videos of the incident, especially of the woman’s loud and erratic behaviour, have since gone viral on social media platforms. In the viral video, the allegedly drunk woman can be heard saying, "Mere husband ko aap log maar ke gaad doge" (You people will kill my husband and bury him). A cop can be seen handling the woman's behaviour with utmost patience, instructing her to leave the place.
According to an Amar Ujala report, the fight erupted between two parties late at night outside the club. The conflict began inside the pub, which falls under the jurisdiction of the CSEB outpost in TP Nagar and escalated rapidly. The heated dispute soon spilled onto the street, resulting in a physical clash and damage to a Mahindra Thar vehicle.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving the information and attempted to mediate between the two parties. However, both groups refused to settle down and continued to argue, not just with each other, but also with the police. Despite efforts to calm the situation, no formal complaint had been filed by either group at the time of reporting.
